Albert Bagdasarian joined KLMLAW Partners as a Tax Associate. Albert is a dually licensed California attorney, CPA, and holds a Tax LLM. He handles sophisticated tax and estate planning as well as transactional tax advice and tax litigation. Albert advises clients on complex financial transactions and he serves both emerging and established businesses as well as high-net worth individuals.
Prior to joining KJMLAW Partners, Albert worked at the Internal Revenue Service as a tax attorney in the Small Business Self-Employed division prosecuting tax matters in federal tax court. Albert’s other experience includes working at a real estate law firm and various tax resolution firms. At KJMLAW, Albert assists small business owners in drafting documents for mergers & acquisitions, ongoing business operations, and assists in implementing tax strategies. Albert assists individuals and business’ resolve tax issues with the IRS and EDD.
Albert graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s degree in political science. Albert was an active member in student government serving as a Senator of Finance. Afterwards he received an Accounting Certificate from the University of California Los Angeles allowing him to sit for the CPA exam. Albert attended California Western School of Law in San Diego. During law school summers, Albert held internships at a prominent tax law firm and a low-income tax clinic. Afterwards, Albert received his Tax LLM from Loyola Law School.
Albert grew up playing tennis and water polo where he was on the Burbank High School tennis team and the Junior Armenian Olympic water polo team. Now, Albert stays active hiking and working out at the fitness gym. His favorite hobbies include skiing and automobile racing.
