Amy Lopez
Associate Attorney
Amy Lopez is an Associate Attorney at KJMLAW Partners. A native Angeleno, Amy’s enjoys zealously representing those in Southern California. She has comprehensive experience protecting and advocating for her clients.
As part of KJMLAW Partners, Amy litigates probate and will-related issues including –challenges to wills and trusts, and trustee conduct.
Amy is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Trust and Estate Section and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
Prior to joining KJMLAW Partners, Amy litigated in federal court for Jones Day. Amy’s previous representation of immigrants as part of Esperanza Immigrants Rights Project equipped her with a keen understanding of attorney-client relationships during stressful times for families and loved ones. Further, during her time at the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (BVA), Amy immersed herself in the world of government agencies and law.
Amy holds a Juris Doctor degree from the George Washington Law school and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She previously externed for the Central District of California and clerked for an esteemed Veterans Law Judge.
Amy is fluent in Spanish. When she is not preparing for court, Amy is a cafe aficionado and concertgoer. Amy looks forward to further sharing her knowledge with law-school hopefuls and committing free time to volunteering in matters of education access and workers’ rights.
