Darren A. Manley

Associate Attorney

Darren Manley is an Associate Attorney at KJMLAW Partners. He primarily handles estate planning and trust administration and assists the litigation team with drafting pleadings and motions.

Prior to joining the firm, Darren worked at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the LA County Library system for over 15 years. He also clerked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, where he conducted preliminary hearings and coordinated with law enforcement witnesses. His extensive experience in public service, interacting with a diverse array of people with differing needs, inspired him to become an attorney and made him see the law as a deeply human endeavor.

Darren earned an AA degree at Holy Cross College at Notre Dame, Indiana through a scholarship with the United States Air Force ROTC Program. He also studied English Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing at California State University, Los Angeles. He earned his juris doctor at Glendale University College of Law in 2024, graduating with high honors at the top of his class.

Outside of practicing law, Darren is an avid runner, having completed six marathons. He also writes screenplays, one of which was recently optioned to Amazon Studios, and is working toward earning an FAA private pilot certificate.
