Tyler Stone
Associate Attorney
Tyler Stone is a Tax attorney at KJMLAW Partners. His practice primarily focuses on assisting businesses and high net worth individuals with domestic and international tax issues by providing timely and effective guidance in corporate and partnership formation matters, transactional matters, and complex tax filing situations. Tyler is well versed in corporate and partnership agreements enabling him to effectively guide clients through complex transactions from a business and tax perspective. Additionally, Tyler assists clients in dealing with IRS and FTB controversies.
Before joining KJMLAW, Tyler worked for the Big 4 Public Accounting firms focused on international and mergers & acquisitions tax, as well as assisting with complex tax compliance matters. He has also spent several years working in-house for private equity firms in the infrastructure space.
Tyler received his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a double major in Legal Studies and Economics. Immediately after his undergraduate studies, Tyler attended the University of San Francisco obtaining both a Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration concurrently.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys playing guitar, reading philosophy, and enjoying the many cultural offerings the greater Los Angeles area has to offer.
