(PASADENA, CA) – KJMLAW Partners will attend the 62nd annual Hawaii Tax Institute (HTI) Conference in November 2025 as a returning sponsor with firm founder Kevin J. Moore as a confirmed speaker. The conference, held in Hawaii’s bustling capital city of Honolulu, will offer five days of programming geared toward tax and wealth transfer-oriented industry professionals.

Moore will co-present with Todd Hammond, a national business development officer with Bryn Mawr Trust, on a session titled “The Purpose of Purpose Trusts” on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 6:30-7:50 am. Together, they will discuss the purpose, strategy, and effects of this type of estate planning tool using client scenarios and other teaching methods. This will be Moore’s first presentation at the HTI conference.

“The Hawaiian Tax Institute Conference is one of the biggest tax conferences out there right now. To participate in such a high-level experience with a returning speaker like Todd [Hammond] is an honor, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to present with him.”

HTI’s conference program is designed for “attorneys, accountants, financial planners, bank and trust administrators, insurance agents, non-profit administrators, enrolled agents and others who would benefit from high quality continuing education.” KJMLAW Partners’ sponsorship of this highly anticipated conference provides access to connect and reunite with professionals that plan, manage, and advise clients in wealth transfer situations.

Firm partners Debby Doitch and Andrew Nutbrown will also be returning to this year’s conference. As attorneys that provide estate planning, trust administration, and probate litigation services, KJMLAW Partners will be able to harness the connections and education gained at the conference to better serve clients according to the resources and laws applicable at the time.
