KJMLAW ATTORNEY KEEPS CONNECTIONS STRONG THROUGH COMMUNITY EVENTS

April 14, 2025
(PASADENA, CA) – KJMLAW Partners attorney Evan Chavez attended events for Loyola High School and Verbum Dei Jesuit High School on Thursday, April 11, 2025, continuing to maintain ties with the educational communities he participated in before joining the firm.
Evan, a 2002 Loyola High School alum, played in the Alumni Golf Tournament benefiting the Loyola Cubs athletic program with colleagues Kevin and Sebastian Moore and Jesse Aguirre. KJMLAW Partners was one of the named sponsors of the tournament, held at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena. As a student, Evan was an athlete in the football program and then returned to Loyola as an athletic coach.
That same evening also on Thursday, April 11th, Evan attended the Verbum Dei Jesuit High School annual gala at the Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles. Evan taught English studies to freshman through seniors during his time as an instructor from 2013 – 2017 before leaving to attend law school.
“I was happy to get the opportunity to reconnect with my old instructors and colleagues from both events on Thursday. Much of who I am was forged during my education at Loyola and coming back to coach allowed me to share those values with my athletes. Moreover, it was great to spend time with my Verbum Dei colleagues, many of whom I shared my aspirations of becoming a lawyer with. All in all, I’m very grateful that KJMLAW supports me in supporting those in my community.”
Evan joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2022 after receiving his Juris Doctor at Tulane University. He primarily works with the litigation team handling various matters in probate, trusts, and family law.
