(PASADENA, CA) – Firm Partner Debby Doitch moderated a group of speakers at the Los Angeles Estate Planning Council’s (LAEPC) February meeting, “Recovery Panel for Wildfire Recovery.” The meeting took place at the Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles.

“It was an honor to moderate a panel with these amazing professionals,” regarded Doitch after the panel, which focused on the pathways to recovery for communities in the greater Los Angeles area affected by January’s devastating and destructive wildfires.

LAEPC curated a panel of experts in different professions to discuss the ongoing efforts for practical next steps and recovery. Speakers of the panel included Rachel L. Fiset, Attorney at Zweiback Fiset & Zalduendo LLP; Mark MacFarlane, CEO and Co-Founder of Vimvi real estate; Sam Pugatch, personal insurance and risk management expert at NFP; and Karen McManus, President of Jacqueline Silverman & Associates art appraisals.

In addition to the breakfast fare at the Jonathan Club, this month’s LAEPC meeting included a clothing drive for gently used professional clothing.
