(PASADENA, CA) – KJMLAW Partners Debby Doitch and Andrew Nutbrown golfed with colleagues Jamen Wurm and Jonathan Lo as a part of the firm’s sponsorship of the 28^th Annual Colleen Williams Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Casa Treatment Center for Women.

The tournament, which took place at the San Gabriel Country Club, welcomed 144 players in 36 teams. Morning activities included a silent auction, barbeque lunch and helicopter ball drop before the teams dispersed throughout the course. At the day’s end, guests returned for refreshments before dinner at which time the event chair provided welcoming remarks, a Casa alumna shared her testimony, and LeeAnn Havner, volunteer and donor, was honored with the Community Service Award. The fundraising dinner also included a paddle raise, a live auction and golf awards. This year, the KJMLAW foursome took home the win with a trophy for each player.

Debby Doitch applauded Casa for its annual fundraising gala and praised her teammates for a job well done, sharing “I’m grateful for the colleagues I have that came to golf with me and helped us win the tournament! Moreover, I’m deeply appreciative of the work that the Casa Treatment Center does for women who struggle with and seek recovery resources for substance abuse addiction.”

Casa Treatment Center for Women offers resources and programs that emphasize abstinence from all mind-altering substances and provide unique treatment plans and therapeutic approaches to recovery for the individual woman, her family, and the group overall. Casa’s annual golf tournament provides funding for hundreds of women in treatment through these programs.
