June 16, 2025
(PASADENA, CA) – Following a successful week at the Professional Fiduciary Association of California’s (PFAC) annual conference in Anaheim, Andrew Nutbrown attended the 17th Annual STEP Los Angeles International Tax & Estate Planning Forum: 2025 Global Matrix in Palos Verdes, California. Nutbrown’s attendance at STEP LA marks his third conference this year, and one of the few he attends solo.
This year’s conference took place at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, where Andrew attended sessions about international estate and tax planning, and how to utilize that developed knowledge for international private clients. The two-day event featured renowned local and international speakers highlighting diverse topics and developments in the law.
For Nutbrown, attending STEP events “is a great opportunity to learn from experts in the field and to reconnect with exceptional advisors from all over the world. Each year I attend, it is great to see familiar faces and to receive updates in developments in the law that impacts international estate planning and administration.”
The 17th Annual STEP LA conference took place from June 5-6, 2025, at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes. The whole conference welcomed about 130 delegates and offered ten discussion panels ranging in topics from international legal compliance, family relations, commercial property and ethics with keynote remarks by past branch STEP chairs, Paul Sczudlo and Pamela Drucker.
